Subhraag Singh is the inventor of the Infinitone and winner of the 2017 [[Guthman competition]]. \\ ===Instruments=== ==Infinitone== The infinitone is a computer controlled microtonal soprano saxophone. It operates similarly to a slide saxophone in that it can play both a [[pitch continuum]] and [[pitch fluid]] but it uses a set of stepper motor controlled openings that overlap to allow the full range to be played. The openings are controllable up to 256 notes per octave (256EDO) with a range of 2 octaves (512 tones). the stepper motor allows the openings to slide between these pitches. ===NOTES=== Subhraag has also released a microtonal music software ((https://infinitone.com/))\\ Soundcloud ((https://soundcloud.com/user-215518655-72150190)) \\ Website ((http://infinitonic.com/))\\ Youtube channel ((https://www.youtube.com/@infinitonica2362/videos))\\ Article on Singh by Exmag- ((https://expmag.com/2021/03/it-looks-like-a-saxophone-but-plays-512-notes-many-youve-never-heard-before/)) 2017 Guthman webpage ((https://guthman.gatech.edu/2017-winners)) \\
