The Paul Dresher Ensemble has a residency that allows artists to take advantage of their studio which appears to include physical space to work, recording equipment and woodworking tools and equipment.
The relationship to the work of Daniel Schmidt is really fascinating, as his work otherwise is focused on Experimental Gamelan. I wonder what connections there are to Mills college.
Featured in Volume 3 Issue #4 of EMI as part of a review of the book “Catalog to the Exhibition/Festival for New Instrumental Resources I & II”
