His work is often cluttered and disorganized in ways that resemble the overwhelming object-saturated urban landscapes of Tokyo. Muneteru often uses parts of instruments, especially the necks and strings of guitars and incorporates them into his sculptures. These isntrument parts are often played in fractured ways that have only a distant resemblance to the sound of the original instruments. |
